PRINCE uPVC underground Drainage and Sewerage pipes are specially designed for underground non pressure application. These pipes are produced from special PVC compounding formulation to withstand different soils, compression loads and negative hydrostatic pressures. These pipes are supplied with Solvent Cement joint sockets and Elastomeric Sealing ring Joint sockets. Pipes are available in brown colour, and standard length of 3 & 6 Mtr.

These pipes are manufactured as per IS 15328:2003 and BSEN 1401 standard and are available in the range of 63 mm to 400 mm diameters, and in following stiffness class:

RINGFIT PIPES
These pipes are self socketed at one end & plain at other end. Sockets are made on automatic socketing machine with accuracy. Socket has groove inside to retain rubber ring. The rubber ring joint ensures trouble free water tight joint with allowance to expansion / contraction.

METHOD FOR RINGFIT JOINTING :
* CUT PIPE : Cut the pipe with a fine toothed saw to the required length. Pipe should be cut square.
* REMOVE BURR AND BEVEL : Remove burr from inside & outside of pipe with knife-edge, file or deburring tool. Using a course file, chamfer end of the pipe, to be inserted, at angle of about 150 to 450 to about 1/3rd of wall thickness. Make sure spigot & socket thoroughly clean and dry..
* INSERT PIPE : Insert pipe into socket without seal ring and mark along the pipe, when it is fully inserted.
* FIX RUBBER RING : Fix the rubber ring in the groove without twisting it.
* APPLY LUBRICANT : Apply jointing lubricant to the chamfered end of the pipe & on rubber ring up to the mark made on spigot or to the socket end of fitting.
* JOIN PIPE AND FITTINGS : Push the pipe firmly into the socket till the gap between the mark on the spigot & the socket is about 10 mm to allow thermal expansion.

Application:
· Specially Recommended for Underground Drainage
/ Sewerage Systems.
· Industrial/Chemical Effluent Conveyance.
· Lining of Existing Sewerage lines.
· Storm Water Drainage.
· Acid and slurries transportation.
Advantage:
· Excellent Stiffness and Impact Resistance.
· Light weight hence easy to transport and install.
· Smooth inner bore for better flow rate of water and prevent build up of deposits & scaling.
· Immune to galvanic or electrolytic corrosion thus ensuring long life below the ground.
· Lower installation & maintenance costs as compared to conventional pipes.
· Joints accommodate expansion and contraction.
· Joints are resistant to soil movement due to earthquake effects.
SOLVENT WELD PIPE
These pipe are socketed on Automatic Socketing Machine with self socket length (without groove) pipes areto be joint with solvent cement, One end of the pipe is plain & the other end is self socketed on Automatic Machine for accurate diameter, These pipes when joined using solvent cement, form a permanent water tight joint.
METHOD FOR SOLVENT CEMENTED JOINTING :
* CUT PIPE : Cut pipe square, as joints are sealed at the base of the sliding socket. Angled cut may result in joint failure.
* REMOVE BURR AND BEVEL : Remove burr from inside & outside of pipe with knife-edge file or deburring tool. Using a course file, chamfer end of the pipe, to be inserted, at angle of about 150 to 450 to about 1/3rd of wall thickness. Make sure spigot & socket thoroughly clean and dry..
* DRY FIT : With light pressure, pipe should go one third to one half of the way into the sliding socket. Pipes & Sockets that are too tight or too loose should not be used.
* CEMENT : Apply a full even layer of cement to the outside of a pipe and medium layer of cement to the inside of a socket.
* JOIN PIPE & FITTINGS : Assemble pipe & socket till it contacts socket bottom. Hold pipe & Socket together until the pipe does not back out. Remove excessive cement from the exterior. A properly made joint will show a continuous bead of cement around the perimeter.
Dimension of Pipes as per IS: 15328 – 2003
